Wow, this is an old photo which I found from my computer. It was taken during Chibicon 2012 event in Helsinki in which I cosplayed Nazi Germany (really, I just put on SS uniform and blue contact lenses) and

cosplayed fem!Russia. We took part in Välähdys contest for the best cosplay pose; unfortunately we didn't win. Such a shame, really, she looks a real proper lady.

That depends on what you mean by giving shit. Some people commented on the fact that I was wearing a swastika armband, but weren't hostile (one was actually doing his job as a security guard and was content when I said that if someone complains about the armband, I'll remove it without any further prompting). The younger (and smaller) con-goers weren't going to complain to someone a head taller than them and wearing an SS uniform.

And there weren't that many old people there, anyways.

That's good- Isn't it illegal in Finland to wear one or is it one of the countries in Europe that doesn't have strict laws like that?

It isn't illegal in itself (our Air Force still has a swastika on its flag, since the Finnish Air Force's swastika predates the Nazi one by several years), but there are laws against inciting a riot and inciting violence against an ethnic/religious group, so it would not be that hard for the cops, if so inclined, to remove Nazi swastika banners etc. It all depends on the context, I think.
